In this cited example, the centuries-old ‘Mekkattu Bhagavathy Temple’ of Travancore Devaswom Board was reinforced, restored, and lifted to a height of 1.8 Meters. This particular temple was submerged in floods leading to structural deterioration. It was restored, reinforced & lifted successfully and moreover, a warranty was given for 25 years for the works carried out.

Problems faced: Dilapidated state of the temple and water logging leading to non-performance of daily rituals.
Project Description: In this project, an approximately 600 years old temple structure situated on the banks of the tributary of River ‘Pamba’ had been badly affected during monsoon related floods leading to water logging and thus affecting the stability of the structure. This structure was reinforced, restored, and lifted to a new elevation of 4 ft without hindering any physical appearance. This structure is now capable to withstand the perils of nature for centuries to come.
